Koko was described as some possessive girlfriend and a certified rich brat who wanted to be with Mitsuo every time. The first episode shows the normal life of an ordinary freshmen student except the part when Kaga Koko’s appearance and how she smashed the bouquet of flowers to Mitsuo’s face while saying ‘I love you!’ (Scary yeah, but kawaii!). Without any memories from the past, Banri continued his new life with the people he’d chosen to be with. On his first day being a college student away from home, he met Yanagisawa Mitsuo whom she got close so easily and Mitsuo’s girlfriend Kaga Koko, who soon became his girlfriend (No spoilers for this). Golden Time is a story of Tada Banri, a new student at a private law university in Tokyo. Until last year, I got my chance to watch it… and I fell with it. I first heard about Golden Time way back 2014 when one of my classmates (Hi Gab!) posted about it on Facebook. These characters really made Saekano worth recommended for. ![]() Her behavior towards Aki really made her character quite interesting. Lastly is, Michiru Hyodo, Aki’s liberated cousin (haha) who will work for the game’s music. I think she is the reason why Saekano was indeed one of those great rom-com animes. She reminded me of Osaka in Azumanga Daioh. Aside from her cuteness, Megumi is a deep person, maybe she is unnoticeable most of the times but she has this attitude to be honest and real. The other one is Aki’s heroine, Megumi Kato, among the other girls in the anime she is the one that I really like. She is a bit quiet and reserved but I think she fell to Aki once, the reason why she called him Mr. And there is Utaha, with her poker face along the way. Eriri is in Aki’s life from the very beginning of his life as an otaku. With his mentality being an otaku, Aki sometimes failed to notice the existence of those girls in his life.Įriri for example, she is Aki’s childhood friend, a hopeless romantic tsundere with a lots of insecurities in her life as an animator. I really like his childish acts!- Given his popularity in the internet as an anime blogger (The episode when Utaha’s manager said that her novels are featured in Aki’s blog). Tomoya Aki reminds me of Sato-kun in another anime (Golden Time) because of too much attention in 2D girls he seemed to forget how it is to be with the real ones. I think this can considered as well as Harem-setup (Maybe yes or maybe no?) What I really noticed with this anime (except for its great opening and ending song! Kudos to Luna Haruna!) is its characters and the dialogues. Well, it made me laughed several times while watching it, maybe you wouldn’t understand some jokes, and I guess if you are not that avid fan of animes. Well, Saekano is indeed an effective in its comedy. The two refused him at first because it might affect their schedules and this whole thing that Aki wanted to do was all a trash.Īpparently, as expected they all accepted Aki’s proposal and decided to create that dating sim that will surely tug all its viewers’ hearts. ![]() ![]() One of those is Eriri Sawamura, his childhood friend (who is also a secretly popular porn animator) to work for the illustration and Utaha Kasumigaoka, his upperclassman (a bestselling light novel author as well) to write the scenarios of his game. Aki need his own ‘circle’ in order for him to accomplish his so-called dreams, given the fact that he knew those people in his school that may help him, he decided to approach them. Saenai Heroine No Sodatekata follows the story of Tomoya Aki who is a game/anime/manga/light novel (etc) otaku who met the perfect girl that urged him to create the greatest dating sim of all times. I think I need to define first those terms mentioned in the anime (for those who did not know it) Harem– “It normally takes place in a high school setting, with one male lead and at least three (often a lot more) girls who are romantically interested in him, or at the very least are bound by circumstances to live with him.” ( ) Doujinshi- “amateur manga publications, featuring either a cast of original characters and plot or characters from another manga or an anime (a ‘fan manga’)” ( ) Also known as Saekano, this anime shows the how effective those animes under the genre of comedy with a bit of romance. It is indeed The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya plus Lucky Star ‘feels’ being wrapped up in one light novel which adapted into anime, titled Saenai Heroine No Sodatekata.
